Parks

Doniphan boasts two parks, on a total of approximately 12 acres: City Park, located in the heart of town, features a covered picnic shelter, rest rooms, tennis court and playground equipment.

Baseball/Softball Fields

The Doniphan Baseball/Softball Complex covers approximately 10 acres and offers a lighted baseball and softball field, a concession stand, restrooms, batting cage, and playground equipment.

Recreation programs include baseball, softball, T-ball and flag football. All programs encompass participants from numerous surrounding communities.

Doniphan Fall Festival

The Doniphan Fall Festival, held every October, includes a noon meal, parade, kiddie carnival, games and an evening hamburger stand.

Doniphan Senior Center

The Doniphan Senior Center is a “home away from home” for all seniors in the area. Services include a nutritious noon meal and Meals on Wheels. Activities include quilting, bingo, card games, parties, and informative programs.

NEBRASKA TRAPSHOOTING ASSOCIATION

GNebraska Trapshooting Association (NTA) has been located in Doniphan since 1948. The Nebraska State Shoot is held annually here, and since 1976, it has been home to the three-day Nationwide Championship Cornhusker Trapshoot, the largest shoot of its kind in the world. A campground with over 90 hookups is available for participants.
