This class C-2 school district covering 150 square miles and the communities of Doniphan, Trumbull and Hansen, offers student achievement and activity programs that makes the “Home of the Cardinals” a premiere small school in Nebraska. Our student enrollment averaging 34 students per grade along with multiple sections of each grade level gives D-T a teacher-student ratio of 10:1.
In 2019, 100% of ours seniors graduated from high school as compared to the state average of 88%. Additionally, 82% of graduates went on to higher education.
In 2019, the composite ACT (American College Test) score for Doniphan-Trumbull was 20.8 as compared to the state average of 20.0%
A fiscally conservative district, general fund expenditures for the past five years have only averaged a 1.1% increase each year and the general fund levy has only increased a total of 2.6 cents over that same five year period.
Doniphan-Trumbull competes in the Louplatte Conference and offers over 20 extra-curricular activities for junior high and high school students.
