Hello! My name is Rachel Lemirand, but I go by Rae. I am the new Director here at The Little Cardinals and I’m so thrilled to be joining the team! I was raised in Fremont & moved to Hastings in 2007. We recently moved to Doniphan and are loving everything about it!

My husband and I have 4 beautiful children ages 22, 6, 5, and 2. My husband and I have been involved in Foster Care for the past 4 years through South Central Behavioral Services and have had the privilege of caring for many children within that time. I have an Early Childhood Degree as well as am finishing my Elementary & Special Education Degree at GCU. I taught Preschool at Head Start in Hastings for 9 years, was the Child Development Supervisor for the Ray & Joan Kroc Center Child Watch Center, I was a nanny for 2 years, and for the past 3 years I have been running an In Home Daycare called Rae’s Rainbows. I have a lot of experience working with little ones & school aged children as well as teens. With this experience, I hope to be an asset to our facility & experience growth in the community. I look forward to meeting all of you & thank you so much for welcoming me to The Little Cardinals family!
